Osprey Condor the fastest boat in Belgian Offshore Challenge 2008

After hard work from the BMC-team their new Osprey Condor, powered by double 350hp Yamaha engines won the Belgian Offshore Challenge 2008.

Ring 10,5m finishes 2nd place in Belgian Offshore Challenge

 Former P1 boat "kikker" of Flanders Offshore Racing finished 2nd place overall during Belgian Offshore Challenge 2008. After a spectacular competition against BMC's new Condor, even winning 2nd (but shorter) afternoon course in front of Blankenberge pier, they could not close the gap to the Condor, which won the morning race with large margin...

Condor open cabin on the water

The first Osprey Condor in the 'Open-cabin' version has been delivered. Just before shipment to Scandinavia the new boat had to pass final factory tests at BMC.

Here is a video unfortunately taken in typical Belgian rainy weather conditions... however this boat is a real eye-catcher even we couldn't shoot the video in Mediterranean sunshine for a glossy magazine front page...

New Capelli Tempest 1000 at BMC open days

Visitors could enjoy an enomously powerful, though comfortable Capelli Tempest 1000 during the open door weekend at BMC. Powererd with twin 8cyl 350pk by Yamaha, even this large 10m Rib offers all the wild spirit of a real sportive RIB.

During the open day weekend we followed the Capelli with the camera - Kris drove the new Osprey Vipermax 7.5  equipped with a single 8cyl 350pk... 

Although I asked them to keep it slow (due to my fear for the camera) they could not resist.... but 43kn is not really fast for these Ribs, isn't it ?!

Ring Powercraft 10.5m of Flanders Offshore Racing

This is a short impression of the spectacular Ring Rib, 10.5m used by Flanders Offshore Racing , the racing devision of BMC. It has won the Powerboat P1 Grand Prix in Anzio/Italy 2006 and ended place 4 overall.
